About

I'm a super-nerd dad of three boys, married to Bonnie, who means everything to me.

I spent time in the US Marine Corps at Cherry Point, North Carolina, working in aircraft maintenance. From there I went to Freed-Hardeman University and studied Ministry and Media, graduating alongside Bonnie in December 2008. Since then I've served as a youth minister and an education minister, more than fifteen years of it now, and today I'm the Education Minister at the Graymere Church of Christ in Columbia, Tennessee.

Most of what's on this site came out of that work. The classes, devotionals and sermons in the library were written for real rooms full of real people, and then given away because I've never seen a good reason to charge a volunteer teacher for a lesson plan.

What I write about

Two things, mostly, and the place where they overlap: Christianity and technology. I've been writing here since 2012: about ministry, about Apple, about productivity, about raising kids who are going to grow up with a screen in their hand no matter what any of us do about it.

Where I've served

I don't currently sit on any boards, but over the years I've served on the boards of directors for Evangelism University, Adventures in Ministry, the Ministering 2 Youth Conference, and The AIM Conference.

Getting in touch

If you want to book me to speak, ask a technology question, or just talk, email is best:chad.landman@gmail.com. I answer everything eventually.
